4 Minutes to Analyze This Song
Madonna’s new single “4 Minutes to Save the World” is officially leaked everywhere. And while everyone is commenting on how great the track is and or how it’s going to be “the hot summer song” or how there is too much Timbaland / Justin Timberlake and not enough Madonna, I’m wondering why no one has picked up on its post-modern content.
The title. 4 minutes to save the world. The lyrics make virtually no sense (as most Timbaland songs hold true) but the title blows me away because the standard length for a song is about 4 minutes. And they are so haughty to think that this 4 minutes is, in fact, going to save the world. It’s genius! But no one recognizes this. They just want to dance. Oh well. Here’s the song.
I wonder how did you get that cute little flash player there. I read a tutorial about that but it seems impossible to use it on a regular WordPress blog. I will be glad if you help me out.
