Why do blonde Hollywood starlets have such a bad pattern of lying to David Letterman? Is it the gap in his teeth? Last year, it was Paris Hilton. And just now, when asked if The Hills was a scripted show, Lauren Conrad simply said, “No.”

…but she didn’t giggle like Amy Winehouse did when singing “Rehab” at the Grammy’s. She’s a good liar.
