iMonopoly?

The forthcoming Apple laptop, the MacBook Air has a few things missing from it.  One of which is an optical drive.  The optical drive in most notebook computers allows users to burn CD’s onto their hard-drives to listen to them on their computers or to upload them to their MP3 devices.

I wonder if Steve Jobs did this on purpose to up the sales of electronic albums on iTunes… conspiracy theory, anyone?
