This Just In!
So, I just finished reading My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult. I recommend you do the same* because I just found out that they are making a movie out of it! Alec Baldwin is going to be playing Campbell, which I think might be a good choice, despite the age difference between him and the character. Then, the Fanning sisters are playing Anna and Kate, another good choice even though they are sort of too young in comparison to the book characters. (Sidebar: I had no idea Dakota had a sister, but whatev.)
However, it is speculated that Cameron Diaz is playing Sara, the mother. I don’t think that’s very wise at all. I was imagining someone more like… I don’t know, Kate Beckinsale or someone. Plus, Diaz is too young! That’s another reason the sisters Fanning were chosen, apparently.
I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see… in 2009 when the movie comes out.
*and if you ever took any creative writing classes, please comment on the ending.

Hmm Well I thought the ending was a little over the top and the conclusion left me quite unsatisfied.

I will read the book. then we will discuss, then we will see the movie in 09′. But I did not take a creative writing course, will my opinion count??? I am creative, though, so perhaps you should listen to what I have to say, my dear……..
This book was amazing! I am not reading Perfect Match also written by her and it just as good. She is quite a writer!
