OMG you guys.
November 29, 2007

With the writers still a-striking, there is nothing that actors will be able to do except perform scenes from “scripted reality shows.” Because, remember - reality show writers are not union writers. Somehow though, I don’t really mind, because there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING better than reenactments of The Hills.

“if you don’t take that off, i will divorce you!!!1″
That was an email I just received from my mother regarding the tagging of a picture on Facebook. (Note - she didn’t include the 1 in the exclamation points to be funny or ironic like some of us tend to do… ;) Anyway, I guess [...]

Hot Gossip!
November 29, 2007

Thanksgiving came a week late on Gossip Girl, but better late then never, as they say. I personally was excited last Thursday when I received the “GG txts,” alas…
As predicted, the family holiday puts the fun in dysfunctional. The Van der Woodsens were dis invited from the Waldorf soirée. Then they are [...]

Write about your observations on the train like a proper New Yorker.
it’s like i’m creating the video for this song. the guitar strums against the backdrop of a cold rainy day. the lyrics dance across the train tracks. and my attention is brought to the woman standing outside, cradling a baby. i hoped he wasn’t [...]

Tina Fey

…before the show even starts! “Sometimes when you are finally done fighting, the fight comes to you.” What a prologue! So, on the show… we have a “she-Pratt.” That sounds like a rare breed of Raptor, to me. Probably a rare manicured form. With a smaller brain. [...]

song of the week
November 25, 2007

This week was Thanksgiving, so I am aptly dedicating this week’s “song of the week” post to a song that I am very thankful for. “Second Place Victory” by This Day & Age is number one on my “favorite songs of all time” play list. If you let it, it will change your [...]

There was once a girlWho lived in a glass house,But knew not to throw stones.Instead, she looked outAt the beauty that she could not touchBut only see,Because she lived in a glass houseAnd she wasn’t allowed out.But she was fine with itBecause that is all she knew,Until one day there was a boy outside. He came [...]

Meredith Grey Monologuism - Thanksgiving Edition
November 23, 2007

Sorry this post wasn’t up sooner. I sort of passed out last night before watching Grey’s Anatomy! Instead of getting up at 5 in the morning for shopping, I decided to sleep in and check it out today. Of course, the fact that I was up yesterday at 5 might have [...]
